Rush...great movie...better story

I got the chance to see Rush last night instead of that other thing on TV. I was intrigued by the back story between Lauda and Hunt. One so focused and the other all over the map. I'd say it's a good Readers Digest version of their rivalry. Chris Hemsworth plays up the playboy drinky drinky James Hunt to a T. Daniel Brühl was really honed in as the focused Lauda. I wish there was more Olivia Wilde but any 13 is good 13. Worth the time to watch gentlemen. Especially on a Sunday with nothing on TV ;)

I saw it this weekend, I thought it was a good movie but not a great one. It got a lot better after the fire.

I really like Rush. It's the only film I've seen that gets the noise of an F1 car right. Even the live coverage doesn't do it.

The first time one starts up it was deafeningly loud in the cinema. In real life they're so loud they blot out every other sound in the vacinity. Rush gets this right.

I liked the movie, the story and characters were fairly typical and lacked real gravitas. Bruhl's character was very good, Hemsworth will always be just Thor. One thing this movie did give me was way more excitement for Australia!
